Everyone has a story, or two, or fifteen. Some are funny. Some are interesting. And some deserve to be told more than once. Most do not.

Unfortunately, most of us know someone who tells the same story over and over again. We force a smile and listen anyway. After all, that someone is probably a friend.

Visitors to your website are not your friends. They don’t have time or the inclination to humor you. When they browse through the pages of your website, they’re looking for an interesting story, and not one they’ve been told over and over by you, or by others. (more…)
