In the midst of the holiday season, we knew we had to extend our reach, and give back to the community who has supported us so much. We decided to get a little creative, and open up our social media forefront to ‘share’ our giving spirit – literally! For every Like, Share, Retweet or Follow, we promised a $1 donation to Feeding South Dakota. As a hunger relief organization, Feeding South Dakota fights daily to eliminate hunger in our state. In 2009, Feeding South Dakota distributed 9.4 million pounds of food to support the local families in need. For every dollar they receive, they can provide four meals to those suffering from hunger. Therefore, we knew with any donation we would make a difference for the families. We ran our campaign through the month of November, and ended up generating 103 total engagements! Shall we do the math? 103 x 4… 412 – 412 meals for families in need!
