Dakotas Conference of the United Methodist Church
Currently serving more than 270 churches across North and South Dakota, with a pending expansion to more than 800 churches when the state of Minnesota joins the Conference in 2013, The Dakotas Conference of the United Methodist Church was looking for a cutting edge website solution to communicate Conference information across all three states through one convenient outlet.
To accomplish this for them, we provided a website built upon the many principals of communication and multiple touch points. Some elements implemented, were Social Media integration, RSS integration and email API integration, allowing them to easily send massive amounts of news articles and event updates to their Episcopal leaders, churches, and congregations. We also incorporated a fully functioning event calendar with the ability to feature events in multiple formats, as well as scheduling functionality associated with their live Video Conferencing. With this customized calendar solution, the client now has the ability to plan events, schedule live video conferences hosted through their site, and allow attendees to register for it all online.
We provided The Dakotas Conference of the United Methodist Church a new website equipped with all the tools they need to quickly and easily manage endless amounts of information within one custom and easy to manage CMS solution, thus improving the overall communication to their congregations.
