Working with churches and individuals on estate planning, stewardship, and supporting ministries, the Dakotas United Methodist Foundation is centered on building relationships and providing educational and financial resources to individuals, ministries, and churches affiliated with the Dakotas Annual Conference. In order to effectively spread their message, they needed a fresh site that would allow board members to have access to agendas, minutes and documents; easy functionality for making changes or updates to the site; and a way to provide users descriptive information and applications to all of the grants they offer.

To create a site that would effectively distribute the abundance of information and updates, we built a custom content management system that would allow for easy updating and usability. We designed a clean layout that improves interactivity amongst members by implementing social media integration, and including access to an easy newsletter registration portal, which will send an electronic newsletter to church members who register. The site also houses past newsletters for church members who may have missed previous editions. Donations can also be made easily through the donation center where users can enter in the amount they would like to donate for education or for the ministry. Donors can research the areas their donations will benefit prior to donating as well. With all of these features, the client now has the ability to post updates, direct donors, give board members access to agendas, and allow for church members to register for electronic newsletters.

We provided the Dakotas United Methodist Foundation the tools they needed to continue their endeavors with stewardship and communication. With the new website we built for them, they are now also prepared to quickly and easily manage all of their donation information within one custom and user-friendly CMS solution, thus improving the overall communication with their donors and church members.
