Fiegen Construction came to us looking to update their existing website and showcase the fact that they are the premier General Contractor in and around the Sioux Empire.  A true design/build Company with the only in-house architect in the region, this client wanted to feature photos of completed projects, as well as modernize the way they do business, utilizing today’s web technology.  Along with a custom built website with a user friendly CMS, Fiegen Construction needed an Intranet platform for sub-contractors throughout the area to log into and bid on recent projects.

The ” Plan Room ” allows Fiegen Construction to streamline their bidding process, and they now have the ability to enter all the project details and project files in a secure online environment. Each part of the project is then available for them to quickly and easily select sub-contractors for any phase and division of the project. Once assigned to a project, a sub-contractor has the ability to login to the Plan Room and review the details and files that Fiegen Construction has made available to them for each project. The sub-contractor can directly submit their bid to Fiegen Construction securely in the online Plan Room eliminating the need for mailing or faxing the bid. Project managers receive an instant notification when a new bid is submitted on their projects.

The process doesn’t stop there! After the bid is submitted, project managers can approve or reject bids instantly online. No need to call, mail, or fax the sub-contractors back. Once their bid is accepted, the sub-contractor then has access to additional project details and files that are only made available for accepted bids. Any and all changes to the project details or files instantly generate a notification to sub-contractors to keep them up-to-date with the latest information and alert them of any changes to the project. With the Plan Room, Fiegen Construction has another tool to simplify communication and keep their projects on track.  We worked side by side with this client and provided them everything from the initial blueprint to a fully constructed and interactive website.
